END THE NEW YORK STATE PROPERTY TAX NIGHTMARE

To our New York State Legislators:

    We want you to end the property tax nightmare. We do not want to be taxed based on property values.

    We endorse the reconciliation of Cahill A4746 and LaValle S2070, which would eliminate the funding of schools through property taxes and would institute some other form of school funding. In order to move forward, we support a Blue Ribbon Commission empowered to investigate every aspect of property taxes and alternate methods of funding schools.
